  The Shenzhen pumped storage power station has an installed capacity of 1200 MW. The plant's water conveyance system uses a 1-pipe, 4-unit water supply method, with the water intake branch pipes being buried pressure steel pipes. The steel pipes have an inner diameter of φ4 meters, are made of 600 MPa high-strength steel, have a plate thickness of 50 mm, and a total weight of 2700 tons. The welding process requires a high welding temperature and involves complex processes such as pre-heating before welding, post-weld heat preservation, and interlayer temperature control.
